Loan Officers

(Full Time) Main Requirements:

  • At least 1 year residential mortgage lending experience or equivalent financial services
  • Comfortable working in an in-house real estate position
  • Team-player with a high-level of confidence, drive and integrity

  • Thorough knowledge of mortgage products, guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to develop relationships.

Loan Officer Assistant- Park Cities

Experienced Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to perform many clerical and customer service related tasks, for our Park Cities office. Working closely with a loan officer, multitasking, and self-motivation is a must. Candidate must be able to maximize efficiencies in order to help loan officers focus on areas of production including loan applications, closing loans, public relations, etc. This is a specialized customer service position, as you will be answering the phone for the Loan Officer and fielding questions from Real Estate Agents. The loan officer assistant should perform their functions with a spirit of urgency, customer accommodation and an overall willingness to attempt to make the loan officer more productive.

Qualifications:

  • • Prior mortgage industry experience is a plus
  • • Computer experience a must
  • • Thorough knowledge of mortgage products, guidelines and procedures
  • • Attention to detail and outstanding customer service is critical to success
  • • Ability to work effectively in a small team-oriented environment


Operations

Mortgage Staff Accountant

Role and Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant will provide support for a variety of finance functions, which may include general ledgers, monthly accounting close activities, loan boarding, transfer of servicing and other finance and accounting projects.

  • Handle fundings, settlements, advancements and purchase advices.
  • GL account reconciliation
  • Intercompany accounts receivable and payable.
  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly
  • Post borrower payments daily
  • Make VA and FHA Payments
  • Provide customer service to borrower’s
  • Issue Daily Checks as approved
  • Make deposits.
  • Print Goodbye Letters and Mortgage Statements
  • Reconcile credit card activity and post to GL
  • Perform credit card refunds as approved
  • Assist with Payroll processing
  • Enter invoices and employee expense reports in GL
  • Scan Invoices and attach in the GL
  • Collect W-9s from new vendors as needed
  • Daily escrow, impounds and remittances
  • Month End close responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting  experience
  • LendingQB and AMB software experience a plus
  • Understanding of loan administration mortgage servicing
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Reconciliations
  • Must be able to work under tight schedules and possess the ability to handle pressure associated with deadlines
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of employees and management
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to increase daily task efficiency without sacrificing accuracy
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
